Scheduling your photography during the best light of the day is critical for me. It’s so important for outdoor ceremonies especially. This wedding ceremony was indoors, but all the photos were arranged late day which was during the most beautiful light time of day at the Millcroft Inn & Spa. Robin got ready in a very relaxed atmosphere, but was the most emotional bride I’ve had in a long time. Makeup touchups were needed all day for this happy couple. The ceremony was in the Erin room and cocktails and dinner were in the River Room at the Millcroft Inn which never disappoints with the food and service.
This beautiful scene at the Millcroft Inn is accessible with a short hike through the woods to the back of the lake.
The Sugar Cube Bake Shoppe made this cake just for the bride and groom to enjoy.
The beautiful view from the back of the lake during late day full sun using the Nikon 24mm-70mm
The bride alone in this same gorgeous spot at the back of the lake, but with the Nikon 70-200mm for a completely different look.
I love the compression of the Nikon 70-200mm for this image. It’s a completely different look from 24mm-70mm
This rustic barn shed on the property always has great light as well and allows for a completely different backdrop than the waterfall. So many options for photos at this venue.
The way she is standing here is just incredible for these images.
The River Room was transformed with string lights for the first dance.
