We started at home where I could see how comfortable they are with each other in front of the camera and I was not disappointed. These two have chemistry and it are so comfortable in front of the camera that I just had to concentrate on taking pictures. I can’t wait for their spring wedding at the Millcroft Inn. We started at home then off to their favourite neighbourhood pub Desotos, and then a walk to view the skyline and home with a Christmas tree to decorate.
Started this session at home right at the front door with great available light before we headed out to explore the neighbourhood.
This place had great decor and beautiful billboards with great colour and these two where so great together it felt like I was photographing a couple that didn’t know I was there.
Then I moved them over to the bar area as people were starting to come in to the restaurant and the light here was incredible. I went outside for a few shots and they gave me this!! It’s all about “heads, hands, and heart” and if you can incorporate those 3 things when you are posing it will be magical every time.
I took a second look around and saw this opening in the wall with this candelabra dripping with wax and knew it would be a great shot.
and then all it took was for them to stay in that spot but just interact naturally like they were the only ones there.
Toronto skyline is great even with a chain link fence.
I saw the light from the schools basement and figured this would be a great spot for how many ways can you hold your partner.
You should try it! You’d be surprised how creative clients can get when you ask them to do this.
The end of the session upon us but not before we buy a Christmas tree and carry it home.
At dusk I used the car head lights in my shots. Why not, it was a one way street so we could totally manage that traffic.
I little creative editing on this one. I love love love the heavy grain added to this image.
Goodnight all! Time to decorate the tree
