I had the pleasure of photographing at the Halton County Radial Railway recently. I met my couple there for their engagement shoot just to find out that we were mislead by a website that wasn’t updated and the museum was closed. Now, the fact that we had driven over an hour to get here and that my couple had made time in their busy schedule including getting her hair and makeup done, organizing clothing and props for this vintage inspired shoot was a little upsetting. But, we as photographers like to say “ask for foregiveness and not permission” when we are at a location that is truly amazing so we made the best of it. Although approached by a few of the workers and told to leave more than twice we managed to sweet talk them into letting us photograph in the parking lot with some old buses and rail cars. So, these photos at the Halton County Radial Railway are not actually in the museum but outside in the parking lot. I look forward to my next opportunity to photograph here and actually go inside. ** sneak peek**
We couldn’t get inside the museum so we photographed using an old rail car in the parking lot.
This was the perfect opportunity to include little Emmitt and take a family photo.
I put them together on this rail car and let the moments happen
Since the museum was closed we photographed around the old busses in the parking lot.
I photograph a lot of different angles and focal lengths with my couples in the same location.
Even though we got kicked off the property numerous times we stayed as long as we could to get these images since we drove over an hour.
