Wether i’m in Toronto or Collingwood, Caledon or beyond I will always look for the light and today the light was everywhere. We were in Ronce Village with these two and although it was chilly she wore a dress which I loved and he barely had a coat on. I was wearing a puffy coat and a hat so I could have photographed them all day. As much as I wanted to have her take her coat off for a few, I just didn’t have the heart to ask her. We started at Cherry Bomb Coffee which was a memorable spot for them when they used to live in Toronto. This couple is now living in Alberta and getting married here in Toronto this summer at The Arts and Letters Club.
The engagement session started out a Cherry Bomb Coffee with a coffee and a tea to keep us warm on this cool day.
Then we just went for a walk to see what we could find.
It’s barely spring so the trees are still bare, but when the light hits them it’s magic for framing your couple.
I found this alley with gorgeous light streaming in. Although, it was incredibly challenging for them to keep their eyes open it just got the perfect reactions from giggles to laughter.
Here is that alley and look at all that gorgeous light! I just asked them to walk back and forth her a few time to get these images.
The entrance to this alley had this fabulous iron gate too.
When your client mentions a fabulous red bench, you make sure you use it somehow and we managed to avoid the numerous people walking by.
Leave it to me to find another fabulous alley that I will certainly return to photograph some more. I love the textures and patterns all in neutral colours that allows the focus to be on the moment my couple is having.
