Intimate weddings like this one don’t always warrant full day wedding packages. I photographed this wedding with a 3 hour time frame and it was challenging with all the children, but the brides focus here since it was a second marriage for both of them, was to capture the children and a family portrait. It is important to prioritize with this type of wedding package as there will never be enough time to capture everything.
It was a beautiful day at The Glen ErinInn to capture images of not only a wedding but a family. There were 6 beautiful children all having professional portraits done and a bride and groom enjoying intimate moments. The wedding day was loosely based on THE BRADY BUNCH theme with the focus on blending 2 families into one. I spent the first hour chasing after a little one intent on not having his photo taken, but in the end I got all the children together for a fabulous group portrait. Ashley, Jordan, Jamie, Conner and Kevin were a dream to photograph and we had a lot of fun with sunglasses, different locations and fashion poses for the girls. The little one, Cody, had me running up stairs, around bushes, and I helped him take his 3 piece suit off one by one as I tried to photograph it at the same time. He was intent on not wearing that suit and he won. The Glen Erin Inn offered a great venue with different options for guests at the reception. You could dance all night to great music, which the kids loved, or you could mingle in the bar lounge or hang out on the patio in the beautiful summer weather talking to your friends and family in an atmosphere outside of a reception hall filled with loud music. I had a great time! Thank you Lana, Steve, Ashley, Kevin, Connor, Jamie, Jordan, Cody for a great evening.
Hope you enjoy the SNEAK PEAK VIDEO and more images to come in the next few weeks.
