Journalistic, candid, creative, fun, fine art photographer
I was recently hired to photograph just a wedding reception because the bride had a family member photograph the preparations, ceremony, and formals. Since the bride and groom wanted the family photographers to enjoy being guests at their wedding they hired me as a second photographer for the wedding reception. The reception was at Il Cavaliere and what a stunning venue with a beautiful painted ceiling in the foyer where the receiving line took place, complete with a piano and dressing room for the bride. The food was incredible and dessert was outstanding. They had a dessert table that would put any buffet to shame. Cake for everyone in every flavour imaginable along with wedding cake, pastries, fruit and a pulled pork sandwich bar I believe. Dinner and speeches are over and the music starts with dancing by everyone. This was a crowd that was in the mood to have a good time and the DJ did a great job with keeping it lively and fun. The bride started a congo line through the reception and “Gangnam Style” was played not once but twice and filled the dance floor.
