West Humber trail in Etobicoke proved to be a great spot for fall journalistic engagement photography and a prime location for Gizmo to chase a heard of white tail deer. Right in the middle of our session this adorable boxer mix took off after some deer and we lost him for a good 20min. before he came running back soaking wet but oh so happppppy. So, I’m including him in this sneak peek because not only do clients bring with them their beloved dogs but they add great candid, documentary feel to sessions. I welcome pets of any kind anytime……. horses, kittens and even chickens last week which you can see HERE.
Weather: Early morning before noon….sunny day.
We started off just walking to see what we could find with Gizmo on a leash, but that didn’t last long. This gorgeous boxer loves the park and chasing animals.
The trails were nicely littered with the fall leaves that were coming down all morning. This was about 1030am and light was gorgeous. If you can’t schedule dusk this is the next best thing.
Cheryl and Matt are great together and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day next year at the Paradise Banquet in Vaughn
This shot needs to be framed…..one of my favourites.
They were in this position a little while so I could shoot in between heavily blowing branches of this red tree.
Matt proposed on this bridge so it was only fitting that they had their engagement photos here. Congratulations you two…..fantastic session.
A photo of the family pet with his tongue hanging out and front and centre…..absolutely!
