What if I want Black & White and Colour Wedding Photos

journalistic bridal portraits on wedding days

Wedding photography will vary greatly and creative photographers even more so.  With a creative photographer you are getting MORE than someone just taking pictures of you and your day.  A creative photographer possesses an eye to see what you don’t see.  We actively search different angles and point of views and the weirder we look while we are shooting the more creative the images.  Not only do we go above and beyond when we have a camera in our hands but it also happens when are post-processing.  A single image can look differently just by who is editing it.  Some photographers like the vintage look, some like overly saturated colours super bold, others like a muted softness.  It all depends on the style you are going for with your photography images.  I personally like a classic, timeless image without a lot of filters or textures……something that will still look good many years down the road.  I provide a classic BW image to the ones that I feel deserve it or sometimes an image just looks better and only in BW.  If I give you an image in BW only it’s because the lighting just wasn’t quite good enough or there were multiple lighting situations and the colour casts are extreme.
