This low running creek was a great location for something different that incorporated this location and no crowds.
Albion Falls in Hamilton was the chosen spot for these 2 avid hikers. They’ve been to most of the falls in the Hamilton area but not this one until now. We decided to check it out for their engagement session and it turned out to be quite busy and popular with the locals as it was easy to get to and very refreshing on a very hot summer day. We started out up top where we could be alone so I could get these two used to being in front of the camera without an audience and it turned out that above the falls was also spectacular and completely ignored by the locals………great for me!
They were able to easily stand and I could shoot from above for this great vantage point.
What an incredibly busy spot, but everyone moved when they saw what I was doing and that was incredibly nice especially for these photos that they wanted.
This limestone wall was a great spot to wait out the crowds that were all over the Albion Falls at the moment
Her red dress was the perfect choice for this waterfall background.
This spot with the tall tall reeds and the late day sun peeking through was perfect for a quiet moment together
They were having so much fun at the beginning when it’s awkward and weird when you ask them to stand under the overpass because the light was great behind them.
It was hot in the late day sun, but they did it and new they would be cooling off soon in the waterfall anyways.
Gorgeous light reflecting on the water at 8pm in July for stunning engagement photos in the creek.
